Juniors - Graphic Designers

Juniors as Graphic Designers will explore a variety of drawing and painting mediums then design cell phone covers using the medium of their choice.  Text messages and additional graphic designs will be used to create an art panel and hung in the regional office.

Daisy - Landmarks Around the World

In this workshop each girl will create travel postcards or mock luggage stickers depicting landmarks or symbols from around the world.  This could be printmaking, drawing or painting. Each girl will create at least 2 pieces of art, and selected entries will be collaged onto an art panel and hung in the regional office.

Seniors - Photo Collage!

Seniors will create a photo collage inspired by girl scouting experiences. Using their previously taken images, seniors will printout and experiment with design and composition principles.  Designs will be used on an art panel and hung in the regional office.

Brownies -  Still Life Art
In this workshop we will explore different ways to paint flowers with different painting techniques.
Each girl will create at least 2 pieces of art, the girls will each decide which one they want to leave as a contest entry. Selected artworks will be used to create a floral still life collage and used on an art panel and hung in the regional office.

Cadets - Comic Adventure

Cadets will create Girl Scout Comic Adventures. We will learn draw comic strips or single comic panels, and comic word images depicting girl scouting experiences (camping, cooking, cookie sales, community projects).  Images will be collected and incorporated into an art panel and hung in the regional office.
